WHY
This team is upgrading the
Bravura Password Manager platform (v12.3 → v12.9) and needs a hands-on security engineer to support authentication enhancements, MFA integration with Microsoft Entra ID, and backend validation during a critical enterprise modernization effort.
MISSION
Serve as the technical subject matter expert supporting the upgrade and ongoing development of the Bravura Password Manager application — including MFA integration, authentication workflow enhancements, and backend validation — ensuring the platform remains secure, stable, and compliant.
DAY TO DAY
- Support the upgrade of the Bravura Password Manager application and backend database, including testing, validation, and troubleshooting across lower environments
- Configure and support MFA integration using Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication routing and user validation workflows
- Modify and validate authentication logic (AD login, security questions, MFA-enabled users, and Entra ID redirects)
- Partner with operations teams to promote code from lower environments into production (production support handled by a separate team)
- Act as a hands-on application SME, supporting development and testing activities while helping troubleshoot backend issues
- Review backend SQL logic and scripts to validate functionality and resolve defects
MUST HAVES
- Hands-on experience administering or engineering Password Management or Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms (Bravura strongly preferred)
- Experience implementing or integrating MFA solutions (Microsoft Entra ID preferred)
- Experience supporting authentication workflows and identity integrations (AD / Entra ID / SSO)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across web applications and backend databases
- Ability to read and interpret SQL queries or backend scripts
- Scripting experience (Python or PowerShell)
- Hands-on engineering mindset (testing, configuration, development support — not production operations)

- Experience with Bravura Password Manager - STRONG PLUS
- Experience integrating with Microsoft Entra ID
