Job Title: Senior Penetration Tester (Red Team / Network & AD Security)
Location: Raleigh, NC (Onsite – North Carolina Candidates Only)
About the Role
The accel bi corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Penetration Tester to join our team in Raleigh, NC.
This role is strictly open to candidates currently residing in North Carolina.
This is a full-time, onsite opportunity working directly with accel bi corporation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network and infrastructure penetration testing, with strong expertise in Active Directory security, red team methodologies, and advanced threat simulation techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal and external penetration tests
- Perform vulnerability identification, validation, and controlled exploitation
- Assess security posture across network devices, servers, Active Directory, VPNs, and cloud environments
- Simulate advanced threat actor techniques (privilege escalation, lateral movement, credential compromise)
- Evaluate security configurations and control effectiveness
- Prepare and deliver detailed penetration testing reports
- Support remediation validation and follow-up testing
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of penetration testing / offensive security experience
- Strong expertise in network and infrastructure security testing
- Hands-on experience with tools: Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite, BloodHound
- Deep understanding of Active Directory attacks, Windows/Linux internals
- Experience with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP frameworks
- Experience in regulated or high-security environments
- Strong reporting and communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be currently located in North Carolina
- Must be able to attend in-person interviews in Raleigh, NC
- Occasional statewide travel required (valid driver’s license required)
- Must be able to work onsite (no remote/hybrid)
